Relax and enjoy your vacation in this spacious home that has Blanco River access at two river parks. This home is conveniently located close tp town and is only a short walk to one of the most pristine rivers in Texas.

This beautiful home is waiting for you and your loved ones to enjoy. The quiet country atmosphere is only interrupted by the distant song of birds. Relax in a rocker on the large covered back porch in the cool of the morning or jump in the jacuzzi to unwind after a day of fun-filled activities. The lace curtains and country blues and greens take you to another place in time away from the business of your life.

The large living area has comfortable seating, a 50" TV with DVD, and a wood burning stone fireplace. There is wireless internet available. The dining room seats up to 12 and is surrounded by lacy windows. The large low bar opens into a welcoming kitchen that is well stocked. There is a free-standing icemaker besides the icemaker in the refrigerator to fill coolers as well as cups.

The master suite has a wrought metal king bed with quilted cover and a 19" remote controlled TV. There is a private door opening onto the back porch near the jacuzzi. The master bath has a water jetted tub and a roomy walk-in closet.

Upstairs is a second master bedroom suite with a queen bed covered with an antique quilt. The bathroom has a walk-in shower with tile and stone trim. The white beadboard with cedar trim welcome you.

The other bedrooms include two other downstairs rooms. One has a queen bed, mirrored closet door and a door onto the back deck. The other has two twin beds that take you back to the Old West decorated with cowboy gear. The fifth bedroom is located upstairs and has a bunk bed with a twin bed on top and a double bed below. It has a table and chairs for cards or board games.

The upstairs game room offers a Foosball table and a 36' TV that is equipped with Nintendo 64. There is a front loading washer and dryer by the kitchen.

There are two river parks with the sparkling, pristine water of the Blanco River. The river at Gazebo park is more shallow to wade among the beautiful gravel rocks or to ride tubes on the swifter current. The larger Hitching Post Park has deeper slower moving water, a handrail to enter the water and an unofficial rope swing for those who are more daring. The fish look up out of the clear water and watch your enjoyment of their home. Although the parks are close to home you may choose to drive your vehicle and park at the river parks.

In Wimberley is some of the best shopping year round. There is Market Days on the first Saturday of each month March through December. The Emily Ann Theater offers live performances you will enjoy. The Corral Theater lets you enjoy the latest movies like no where else. You sit outside under the stars in your own lawn chair or theirs. Visit the old west at Pioneer Town and see the house made out of coke bottles. Restaurants abound in Wimberly and nearby. You can climb the steps of Mount Baldy or bike the many country roads.

Nearby, is the beautiful Canyon Lake. Also, New Braunfels is about 40 minutes away with Schlitterbahn, the Guadalupe and Comal Rivers and Landa Park.
